When we decided to make a page on how to serve banana ice cream we were told "there's not much you can do to make banana ice cream look good," but boy did we prove them wrong. It is a hard task to make such a colorless ice cream look good, but it is possible. Just don't be afraid to use the outside of the banana when being creative. Remember presentation is just as important as flavor.

Don't draw the line at sprinkles, use some creativity. We suggest using the out side of the banana as well. It adds color and the banana pieces reminds people of the rich and creamy banana flavor within the ice cream. Never be afraid to top ice cream with what is already in it.

One thing fun about ice cream is that you can dress it up almost any way you want. We used the top of a banana for the hair, a slice with the peal still on it for the goofy who knows what on top, chocolate chips for the eyes, a peace of cherry for the lips, and a sprig of mint just to add more color.  Don't stop here! Who knows, if you practice playing with your food enough you might have a snow man in front of an igloo!
