This recipe calls for:

3/4 Cups Sugar

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

1/4 Teaspoon Ground Ginger

1/8 Teaspoon Ground Cloves

2 Large Eggs

1 Can (15 Ounce) Pure Pumpkin

1 Can (12 Fluid Ounces) Evaporated Milk

For this recipe you will need:

Myhomecooking's pumpkin piecrust in a nine inch pie pan

Can Opener

2 Mixing Bowls

25 Inches of Tinfoil Wrap

First Step: Mixing Spices

First, combined and mix thoroughly all these dry ingredients:

3/4 Cups Sugar

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

1 Teaspoon Ground Ginger

1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

1/8 Teaspoon Ground Cloves

Now place this mixing bowl to the side and set your oven temperature to 425 degrees F.

Second Step: Pumpkin Pie Filling

In a new mixing bowl beat 2 eggs. Then thoroughly stir in the caned pumpkin and the spices placed aside from step one. After all this is blended together stir in the one can of evaporated milk.

Now it's time to put the pie together! Just dump the filling in.

Fourth Step: Baking Pumpkin Pie

Place your pumpkin pie in the oven (425 degrees F.) Allow the pie to bake for 15 minutes. Then, once 15 minutes has passed, take the tinfoil mentioned above, fold it into quarters, and cut out a quarter circle from the interior corner of the folded sheet. When you unfold the sheet, the picture to the upper left should be the result. When doing this, it is important not to cut the hole two small, which will prevent part of the pie from thoroughly cooking. The tinfoil should just cover the edge of the crust. Place this on your pie, and then, reset the oven to 350 degrees F.  Continue to let your pie bake for 40-50 minutes. To test and see if your pie is completely cooked, insert the end of a knife into the middle of the pie. If it comes out dirty, continue to cook it for a few more minutes, and then repeat this step. If it comes out clean, your pie is done!
