recipe calls for:
3/4 Cups Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1/4 Teaspoon Ground Ginger
1/8 Teaspoon Ground Cloves
2 Large Eggs
1 Can (15 Ounce) Pure Pumpkin
1 Can (12 Fluid Ounces) Evaporated Milk |

Fourth Step: Baking Pumpkin Pie
Place your
pumpkin pie in the oven (425 degrees F.) Allow the pie to bake for
15 minutes. Then, once 15 minutes has passed, take the tinfoil
mentioned above, fold it into quarters, and cut out a quarter circle
from the interior corner of the folded sheet. When you unfold the sheet,
the picture to the upper left should be the result. When doing this, it
is important not to cut the hole two small, which will prevent part of
the pie from thoroughly cooking. The tinfoil should just cover the edge of the
crust. Place this on your pie, and then, reset the oven to 350 degrees
F. Continue to let your pie bake for 40-50 minutes. To
test and see if your pie is completely cooked, insert the end of a knife
into the middle of the pie. If it comes out dirty, continue to cook it for
a few more minutes, and then repeat this step. If it comes out clean,
your pie is done! |
