Need to learn how to make chicken Broth? Well, just follow the simple step-by-step instructions. Don't worry, it might be a little gross, but its not hard.

Chicken Broth Ingredients and Equipment

Ingredients:

1 Large Chicken (all entrails including giblets removed)

1 Stick of Celery

1/2 Onion

1 Cabbage leaf

1 Teaspoon Salt

Equipment:

Large Soup Pot with a Lid

Glass Containers for Chicken Broth

Large Spoon

Chicken In The Pot

Chicken and Vegetables

Step One: Boiling

First check and make sure that the giblets are removed. If they are left you chicken broth will be too strong. Then place in the pot:

1 Large Chicken

1 stick Celery

1/2 Onion

1 Teaspoon Salt

4 Quarts of Water

Place the lid on the pot and bring all of this to a boil. After this reduce the heat to low and let this simmer for two hours.

Step Two: Chicken and Vegetables

After two hours remove all the vegetables and the chicken.

Step Three: Pouring Chicken Broth

All done! Just pour the chicken broth into your glass jars. Make sure you leave 2 inches of space in-between the lid of the jar and the liquid. This will prevent the jar from braking in the freezer. Once the lid in on tight place the chicken broth into the freezer and leave there until ready to use.
