Why Make Homemade Soup?One of my favorite things about soup is how it can be used as the main course of a fine meal or, in casual settings, the meal itself. When company is coming over you no longer have to worry about starting up the grill, baking bread, finding time to snap the green beans, and preparing the gravy. All you have to do is enjoy the aroma coming from your kitchen and tell someone to pick up a loaf garlic bread on their way home. Chop it up and throw it in the pan, that sounds like my kind of meal! |
